Crystal Palace look to secure a place in their first-ever European final after a disappointing 3:0 defeat at Bournemouth in the Premier League last weekend. A much-changed Eagles selection were outplayed over the 90 minutes, as the Cherries ran out easy winners at the Vitality Stadium. 

The Eagles have been a reliable choice for goal chasers in recent weeks, with all but one of their last eight games finishing with over 2.5 goals scored. 

After a well-deserved 3:1 in last week’s first-leg in Poland, Oliver Glasner’s side will now be confident of securing a place in the Conference League final. Strong performances in the knockout phase have seen the Londoners knock out AEK Larnaca and Fiorentina before their fine victory last time out. 

Head coach Glasner is set to restore the same XI that claimed victory in Krakow last week. The Eagles have five players unavailable. Chadi Riad (knock), Cheick Doucouré (knee), Eddie Nketiah (strain) and Evann Guessand (knee) are all ruled out through injury, while Will Hughes is doubtful due to illness.

Shakhtar Donetsk arrive in London in high spirits after a fine 2-1 comeback victory against Dynamo Kiev on Sunday. Second-half goals from Lucas Ferreira (50') and Lassina Traoré (68') secured an impressive away win for Arda Turan’s side.

The Ukrainian Premier League leaders have been in excellent form, recording victories in six of their last nine matches, with last week’s semi-final first-leg defeat their only reversal in that period.

Like the Eagles, high-scoring outcomes have been a recurring theme in Shakhtar’s recent results. Nine of their last ten games finished with three goals or more, and with the visitors in need of a high-scoring win, a similar result seems likely this week. 

Head coach Turan has a strong squad available ahead of the trip to London. Danylo Udod is the only confirmed absentee for the visitors.
