The UEFA Champions League format was changed once again ahead of the 24/25 season. Now, after three qualifying rounds and the playoff round, 36 clubs play in the league phase, while the knockout stage features 24 teams. Another new aspect is that there will only be two draws once the league phase is over. The whole playoff bracket will be determined at the draw ahead of the round of 16.

Qualification Stage

Seven league phase spots are up for grabs in the qualifying stage, which consists of the Champions Path and the League Path.
