A place in the fourth round of the NM Cupen is up for grabs at Bryne Stadion as Bryne takes on Brann on Wednesday evening.

Brann will be confident of maintaining their winning form when they switch their attention to Wednesday's NM Cupen contest. 

An impressive run of results has seen Freyr Alexandersson's side secure victories in each of their last seven matches, including a 4:2 win at Valerenga on Saturday. 

Strong in the final third, Brann bagged 22 goals in their last seven wins, although they did fail to keep a clean sheet in five of those victories. As a result, all but one of their last eight games saw a minimum of three goals scored.

The Pride of Bergen also boast a superb recent record in matches against Bryne, with victories scored in each of their last nine encounters since 2003. More recently, Brann scored a 3:2 victory in Bergen last month. 

Bryne come into Wednesday's cup clash having slipped to defeat in four of their last seven games, including each of their two most recent fixtures. Kevin Knappen's men fell to a 3:0 defeat against Rosenborg on Sunday after their defeat in Bergen. 

Competing in the Eliteserien for the first time in over 20 years, the home side have picked up just three points from five games since their return to Norway's top flight.

With Brann in such good form, and in possession of such a strong record in this fixture, an away win should prove a solid choice on Wednesday.
