Although Austria have been a regular participant at the EURO, they have not played at the World Cup since 1998. With that long drought, progress to the knockout phase would be a big success. However, the task will be far from straightforward, with a challenging group that includes world champions Argentina, as well as Algeria and Jordan.

Tunisia doesn't have any top-class players. Probably the best player on the team is Hannibal Mejbri, but even he ended the previous season with only one goal and four assists for Burnley. The other important pieces are Montassar Talbi (Lorient), Ismael Gharbi (Augsburg), and Ellyes Skhiri (Eintracht Frankfurt).
