EPL champions Arsenal look to bounce back to winning form when they take on unbeaten Leeds on Saturday.

The Gunners suffered a heavy loss at Brighton before the international break, while Leeds maintained their impressive start to the Premier League season with a goalless draw against Crystal Palace.

Leeds have shown plenty of attacking quality this season, and will be confident of testing the EPL champions this weekend.

Arsenal team overview

Arsenal return to the Emirates after slipping to a shock 3:0 defeat against Brighton in their most recent Premier League fixture three weeks ago.

Goals from Pascal Gross, Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andres secured a well-deserved victory for the Seagulls.

Mikel Arteta’s men had enjoyed a perfect start to the season having secured seven successive victories before their defeat on the south coast.

The Gunners have shown some defensive vulnerability in recent weeks, conceding five goals in their last two matches against Ipswich and Brighton. Arsenal have now conceded in three of their last five fixtures.

Still, the defending champions remain formidable in London, winning 17 of their previous 21 home league matches.

Head coach Arteta has several injury concerns this weekend. William Saliba and Christos Tzolis are unavailable, while Declan Rice and Ezri Konsa are doubtful after withdrawing from international duty.

Kai Havertz, Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie also require late fitness tests.

Leeds United

Leeds team overview

Leeds return to Premier League action after a goalless draw against Crystal Palace at Elland Road three weeks ago.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed one of several opportunities, although an evenly contested match could have gone either way.

Daniel Farke’s side secured an impressive 4:1 victory against Newcastle in their previous EPL contest. Calvert-Lewin scored twice in that excellent home win in September.

Sitting fifth in the division, the Whites remain unbeaten after five Premier League fixtures this season, with nine points on the board.

Leeds have performed well on their travels,  beating Nottingham Forest (2:0) before earning a 1:1 draw at Brighton.

Usually a reliable choice to get on the scoresheet, Farke’s side scored at least one goal in 13 of their last 16 matches, including three goals against Chelsea in a wild 6:3 EFL Cup defeat earlier this season.

Farke has some injury concerns ahead of the trip to London. Joe Rodon is sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Harry Wilson and Jean-Matteo Bahoya are doubtful to feature.

Mateo Joseph remains unavailable with a long-term knee injury.

Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor should continue in attack after starting the draw against Crystal Palace.

Prediction

Arsenal will be determined to deliver a response after their disappointing defeat at Brighton.

However, Leeds remain unbeaten in the Premier League and have scored in four of their opening five fixtures.

BTTS looks like a great value choice this weekend.

Three Reasons Why We Expect BTTS

  1. Arsenal conceded in 3 of their last 5 matches
  2. Leeds have seen BTTS in 4 of their last 5 matches
  3. Leeds scored 1+ goals in 13 of their last 16 matches
