Espanyol’s winless streak stretches back to 2025 - Manolo González’s side have not won any of their last ten LaLiga outings. However, they still managed to record three draws in their last four league outings. On top of that, they defeated Mallorca 3–2 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

The statistical trends suggest that this matchup often produces goals, and both teams have regularly been involved in matches where both sides score. BTTS has occurred in Espanyol’s last six league away matches, while BTTS has landed in six of Mallorca’s last seven LaLiga home fixtures.

Aston Villa have been in poor form, but still managed to score in six of the past seven games. Moreover, we saw BTTS in the previous H2H game (2:1 win for Aston Villa).
