Werder Bremen vs Wolfsburg prediction 07.11.2025 | Bundesliga

Since Werder returned to the Bundesliga in 2022, they have become a stable mid-table team. The current campaign started poorly, but the recent good run suggests another solid year, as Werder propelled themself six points above the relegation zone. Horst Steffen's team is undefeated in the last four matches. In the most recent outing, they played 1-1 on the road against Mainz. The home side had control in most of the game, but the guests scored late and salvaged one point. 

Werder's head coach, Horst Steffen, almost led Elversberg to the unexpected promotion to the Bundesliga last season. After the game against Mainz, he said that there is plenty of work to do, but he promised that his team is on the course to become a well-oiled offensive machine. 

Werder Bremen have some problems with missing players. They will be without injured Felix Agu, Maximilian Wober, Mitchell Weiser, and Olivier Deman on Friday night at Weserstadion. 

It is hard to imagine the Bundesliga without Wolfsburg, which have been part of the German top flight for almost 30 years and even became the champion in the 2008/09 season. However, the team is not playing well in the current campaign, and after eight rounds, they are only two points above the relegation zone. Wolfsburg lost six of the last seven matches in all competitions. Last weekend, they lost 3-2 at home against Hoffenheim.

Although Wolfsburg are not playing well, sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz publicly backed the head coach Paul Simonis, but with some reservations. He said, "Guarantees are very difficult in this business. All I can say is that our next focus is Bremen. We'll tackle that together."

Rogerio, Kevin Parades, Joakim Maehle, Jesper Lindstrom, and Kilian Fischer are injured and will not play on Friday night in Bremen.
