With fellow relegation rivals Leeds, West Ham and Nottingham Forest all picking up positive results last weekend, Spurs now find themselves inside the relegation zone for the first time this season. The Lilywhites sit two points behind West Ham with just six games to play.

A dismal run of form has seen Tottenham pick up just one point from their last nine league games, while they have not won an EPL fixture since a 1:0 win at Crystal Palace last year.

Brighton makes the trip to London in fine form after a well-deserved 2:0 win at Burnley last weekend. Mats Wieffer was the unlikely goal hero with the Dutch full-back scoring twice at Turf Moor. 

The Seagulls have picked up some excellent form in recent weeks, securing victories in five of six previous EPL fixtures. Highlight victories included a 2:1 win against Liverpool and a 2:0 win at in-form Brentford. Brighton now sit ninth in the division, but only two points behind sixth-placed Chelsea.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side will take further confidence from recent matches against Tottenham. Brighton bagged a convincing 4:1 win on their last visit to this venue, and with the hosts in such dire form, another away win looks likely this weekend. 

High-scoring outcomes have been a recurring theme in past encounters between these sides. Each of their last six meetings finished with a minimum of three goals scored.

Brighton boss Hurzeler has just two confirmed absentees this weekend. Lewis Dunk is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards, while Adam Webster is ruled out through injury with a knee issue.
