Norwich vs Millwall prediction 09.08.2025 | Championship

Norwich was part of England's top 25-26 teams for a long time. So basically, they were not always part of the Premier League, but at least the team from Carrow Road was among the best in the Championship. The previous year was disappointing as the Canaries ended as a mid-table team. Norwich didn't impress in the preseason, either, as they won only two of seven matches. 

Borja Sainz and Callum Doyle left Norwich this season, but the Canaries seem stronger as they added a lot of good players. Probably the biggest signing this summer is striker Mathias Kvistgaarden, who came from Brondby. Norwich also signed Papa Amadou Diallo (Metz), Mirko Topic (Famalicao), Jacob Wright (Manchester City U21), Vladan Kovacevic (Sporting CP), Jakov Medic (Ajax), Harry Darling (Swansea), and Jeffrey Schlupp (Crystal Palace). 

Last season was surprisingly good for Millwall, as they ended with only two points fewer than the promotion zone. Millwall had an excellent preseason with five wins from seven matches. In the previous test, Millwall won 3-0 against Estoril. 

Zian Flemming, one of the best Millwall players from the last season, went to Burnley, but the club from Den seems to have a ready replacement in 20-year-old Mihailo Ivanovic. The young Serbian scored 12 Championship goals last season and should continue to grow in Millwall. The biggest additions this summer are Alfie Doughty (who came from Luton), Josh Coburn (Middlesbrough), and Steven Benda (Fulham).
