Napoli have had a pretty difficult season to assess. Many people called it a failure, while others do not agree, given their injury problems. However, we can safely say they were atrocious in the Champions League, and pretty good in Serie A. Unfortunately for the reigning champs, Inter were great in Serie A and are nine points ahead with only six rounds left. Therefore, the title seems unlikely, and they should aim only to finish in the top four and secure a Champions League spot next season. 

After a 1:1 draw with Parma, coach Antonio Conte spoke to the media. He was unhappy with the start, admitting they conceded too early and made things much harder for themselves. Even though they dropped points, he insisted the title dream is still alive and that they have to keep fighting. 

Also, the team should have no new absences, but the players who missed the previous games should remain sidelined - David Neres, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Romelu Lukaku, Amir Rrahmani, and Antonio Vergara.

Lazio missed out on Europe after finishing 7th last year. This time, it seems that Biancocelesti could miss it for the second year in a row, considering they are in 9th place with 44 points from 32 matches and are 13 points away from the desired 6th place. However, Biancocelesti will have an alternate route to secure Europe as they are still in the Coppa Italia. After the Napoli game, they will have a second-leg semi-final match against Atalanta after a 2:2 draw in Rome. So, perhaps Lazio will rest some of their key players against Napoli to keep them fresh for the Coppa Italia game, since they have almost no chance of moving up the league table. 

Adam Marusic and Daniel Maldini are the newest additions to the injury list and have missed the previous match against Fiorentina. Additionally, Mario Gila, Samuel Gigot, Ivan Provedel, and Nicolo Rovella should also remain sidelined with their injuries.
