Mallorca vs PSG prediction 05.08.2026 | Friendly match

After five consecutive seasons in La Liga, Mallorca will play in the upcoming campaign in the lower level of Spanish football. They finished 18th in the standings with the same number of points as Osasuna and Levante, but their worst H2H record cost them a place in the strongest domestic competition. Mallorca enters the 2026/27 season as one of the best teams in La Liga 2 and with expectations to return to the higher level. 

This summer, Mallorca have already had two friendly matches. They opened their preseason campaign with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Al Fateh before defeating another Saudi Arabian side, Al Ittihad, 4-2. In both tests, Mallorca showed a lot offensively, and it will be interesting to see whether they can maintain the form on  Wednesday against PSG. 

Mallorca are very active on the market this summer. The club has let go of many players, including Vedat Muriqi, Leo Roman, Pablo Maffeo, Omar Mascarell, and Mateo Joseph. All those players had a big role in the previous season. On the other hand, the most interesting addition in the previous weeks is goalkeeper Arnau Tenas, who came on loan from Villarreal. Mallorca also signed Adrian Fuentes (from Cordoba), Arnau Puigmal (Almeria), Antoniu Roca (Espanyol), Aboubaka Soumahoro (Hamburg), and Alex Sala (Lecce). 

PSG have won the last five Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League trophies. They enter the new season to continue their dominance, and while we can't see a real challenger in France, on the continental level, some teams could beat them. 

Most of PSG's important players participated in the World Cup, so it is not surprising that Luis Enrique's team opted for a shorter preseason and only two test matches. However, their first two official matches will be the UEFA Super Cup and the national Super Cup, and they will use those games too to optimize their form. 

PSG didn't change their squad drastically this summer. The club left Goncalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee, and Randal Kolo Muani. On the other hand, the only signing is 18-year-old goalkeeper Alessandro Lungoni from Milan Futuro. We should expect more moves from PSG in the next few weeks.
