Mallorca vs Almeria prediction 27.09.2026 | LaLiga 2

Mallorca return to home comforts after securing a hard-fought 1:0 victory against Real Sociedad B last weekend.

Adrian Fuentes scored the decisive goal as Luis Garcia's side claimed their first away victory of the campaign. 

The islanders have won four of their opening six league fixtures, scoring eight goals and conceding only two. They kept five clean sheets during that sequence and have not conceded in any of their previous four matches.

Mallorca have also won all three home fixtures without conceding, beating Valladolid, Ceuta and Sabadell by an aggregate score of 7:0.

Head coach Garcia has some players missing for this weekend’s La Liga 2 contest. Martin Valjent, Zito Luvumbo and Lucas Bergstrom are on international duty while Abdon Prats and Jan Salas are expected to remain sidelined through injury.

Top scorer Fuentes is expected to continue in attack after scoring four goals in six appearances.

Almeria travel to Palma after claiming a convincing 2:0 victory against Celta Fortuna last Sunday.

Nico Melamed and Javi Munoz scored in a one-sided win for Garcia Pimienta’s side. Almeria registered 16 efforts on goal and limited the visitors to only one shot on target.

The Andalusians have been in good form, picking up victories in their last three matches, including a 3:2 success against Cadiz and successive 2:0 victories over Cordoba and Celta Fortuna.

Six games into the campaign, Almeria sit fourth in the division, one point behind Mallorca. 

While in possession of an excellent home record, Almeria have been less convincing on the road, losing 1:0 at Tenerife and Sabadell before responding with a 2:0 victory at Cordoba.

Head coach Pimienta also has some absentees this week. Stefan Dzodic and Brian Cipenga are unavailable because of international duty, while Gui Guedes remains sidelined following knee surgery. 

Rodrigo Ely is also a major doubt with an ankle problem. Mikel Vesga is expected to replace Dzodic in midfield, while Sergio Arribas is pushing for a recall after returning to full fitness.
