Le Havre vs Nantes prediction 08.11.2025 | Ligue 1

Le Havre’s season so far has been a mixed one. They currently sit 12th in the Ligue 1 table after 11 matches, with a record of three wins, four draws, and four losses. Despite their mid-table position, Didier Digard’s men have proven difficult to beat and are often a tough challenge for similar-level opposition. Although they have managed just two wins in their last seven Ligue 1 outings, they have compensated with resilience - suffering only one defeat during that stretch, while the other four games ended in draws. A notable improvement since their 6-2 loss to Marseille a few weeks ago has been their defensive solidity. Le Havre have kept three consecutive league clean sheets and are currently unbeaten in three league matches. 

On the injury front, the club recently reported the loss of key striker Ahmed Hassan due to a thigh injury.

Nantes find themselves in a slightly worse position in the table, sitting 15th as things stand. They are above Lorient in the relegation battle only thanks to a superior goal difference. The visitors have struggled to find consistency in Ligue 1 during the early stages of the 2025-26 campaign, winning just once in their last eight league matches - a 2-1 victory over Paris FC a couple of weeks ago. That success provided only a brief reprieve from what has otherwise been a disappointing run, with three defeats in their last four league fixtures. 

Interestingly, Nantes’ defensive record on the road has been commendable, conceding only five goals in away matches so far. However, their attacking output has been underwhelming, averaging just 0.8 goals per away game. 

Lepenant, Lahdo, and Lopes have all been ruled out for Saturday’s clash and will not feature.
