Dynamo Dresden vs Nurnberg prediction 07.11.2025 | 2. Bundesliga

Dynamo Dresden managed to secure promotion to the 2. Bundesliga by finishing second in the 3. Liga last year. They are generally a team that has often moved between the third and second tiers of German football for over a decade. This year, their only goal is to survive somehow, but that isn't going really according to plan. After 11 rounds, the team from Saxony is in 17th place with only seven points - three points away from the safe zone. 

The team's captain, Stefan Kutschke, missed the previous two games due to suspension and will remain suspended for the Nurnberg game as well since he received a three-game ban in the Preussen Munster match. Interestingly, the 37-year-old forward entered the game in the stoppage time (92nd minute) and needed only five minutes to receive a straight red card! However, his impact this season hasn't been the greatest, and we don't think his absence will be too much of a problem. 

Nurnberg are playing their seventh consecutive season in the 2. Bundesliga, where they were mostly in the lower part of the league's table. Last year, they finished 10th and aren't doing much better this year. However, most of their poor results came at the start of the season and are now on a four-game unbeaten run. So, there are definitely some positive signs about the Bavarian club.

For the upcoming game, the team will be without Luka Lochoshvili. The central defender received his fifth yellow card in the previous game and will serve his one-game suspension. The 27-year-old defender has been among their best defenders this season, and his absence will be a massive factor. This season, Lochosvili started in every single game for Nurnberg, including the Cup games as well.
