After a terrible last season in League One, Cambridge United returned to the fourth tier of the English league system. Before the 2025/26 season started, Neil Harris' team was expected to be one of the main candidates for promotion, but after opening 11 rounds, they are already seven points behind the league leader, Walsall. However, it seems that Cambridge United's form is improving as they are undefeated in the last four league matches. In the previous game, Harris' team won 3-1 at home against Crawley. Luton are not playing well, and the supporters are harsh on the manager, Matt Bloomfield, after a defeat against Stevenage, asking him to go. On the other hand, the head coach said that he feels supported by the board and will concentrate on his work.
