Brentford are in solid form as they have lost only one of their last four matches in all competitions. In the previous game, they won 3-1 at home against Manchester United. After four consecutive titles, Manchester City last season ended third in the Premier League and are now determined to return to the top. The start of the 202/26 season was probably worse than expected as Guardiola's team is already five points behind the league leader, Liverpool. However, it seems that things are improving for Manchester City as they are undefeated in their last six matches. In the previous game, Guardiola's team played 2-2 on the road in the Champions League against Monaco. 

Manchester City will be without Abdukodir Khusanov and Rayan Ait-Nouri in the upcoming clash. Also, Rayan Cherki and Omar Marmoush are questionable and their status will be clearer closer to the kickoff.
