Borussia Dortmund come into Sunday’s Bundesliga fixture after a thumping 4:0 win against Freiburg in their most recent runout. Serhou Guirassy bagged his 15th league goal of the season as BVB eased to victory with three goals scored in the opening 31 minutes. 

Niko Kovač’s side had suffered back-to-back Bundesliga defeats against Leverkusen and Hoffenheim before their one-sided win last time out. 

A lack of consistency has been an issue in the past couple of months, with five wins and four defeats recorded from nine previous fixtures since the end of February. 

While the Bundesliga title has again escaped their grasp, BVB sit second in the division, four points ahead of RB Leipzig. 

Head coach Kovac has four confirmed absentees this weekend. Felix Nmecha (knee), Karim Adeyemi (muscle), Niklas Süle (knee) and Ramy Bensebaini (foot) are all ruled out through injury.
