Atletico Madrid are in a pretty strange place, having won just once and lost five times in the past six games. However, during that terrible stretch, they managed to secure a place in the Champions League Semi-Finals by eliminating Barcelona. Interestingly, Colchoneros reached the Copa del Rey Finals by eliminating the same team as in the Champions League - Barcelona! 

In La Liga, after three straight losses, Colchoneros are in 4th place with 57 points - 11 points away from dropping out of the top four. Securing "only" the top four will probably be their goal in La Liga, and at the moment, their focus is on the cup competitions.

When it comes to injuries, the players who missed the previous games should remain sidelined - Pablo Barrios, Jose Maria Gimenez, and David Hancko. 

Real Sociedad had a pretty bad first half of the season, but after sacking coach Imanol Alguacil and appointing Pellegrino Matarazzo, they started playing a lot better. Alguacil spent eight and a half years at the club, and it seems the club desperately needed a change. At the moment, after 31 La Liga rounds, the White and Blues are in 7th place with 42 points. So, even if they fail to win the Cup, they still have a realistic chance to secure Europe next season.

Coach Matarazzo will have several important players out with injuries - Jon Gorrotxategi, Yangel Herrera, Job Ochieng, Alvaro Odriozola, and Igor Zubeldia, while midfielder Luka Sucic is listed as questionable.
