Usyk vs Dubois 2 Prediction and Betting Odds
After all the talks about the overloaded football calendar and top clubs having to play 60+ matches in a season, FIFA introduced the new format of its Club World Cup, which will run in the USA for a month. It's a real shame we can't bet at any odds that the players are not happy. Yet, if there's a tournament, there must be some value bets that MightyTips pundits will try to find while previewing the event. First and foremost, let's look at the top 10 favourites according to the bookies. We took the odds from our long-term partner, Lunubet.
Club | Odds |
Real Madrid | 4.90 |
Manchester City | 5.80 |
Paris Saint-Germain | 5.80 |
Bayern Munich | 7.80 |
Chelsea | 11.00 |
Inter | 14.00 |
Atletico Madrid | 15.00 |
Borussia Dortmund | 25.00 |
Juventus | 26.00 |
Flamengo | 35.00 |
It remains to be seen how serious the top contenders will be in this tournament and whether they'll field their strongest line-ups or give chances to the youth. Still, the biggest favourites represent Europe, with Flamengo as the sole non-European team in the top 10. Real Madrid are the team to beat at 4.90, which looks reasonable, given they had a rare season without a single trophy. Fan's favourite, Xabi Alonso, is the head coach, and it's fair to say that he'll do everything he can to start with a bang. After all, we all know that patience is not the strongest side of Madrid's bosses.
Manchester City also had a trophy-less season, but Pep Guardiola is still there and will look to make amends. His team always has a very long bench full of stars, so this is another clear contender to go all the way at 5.80. Paris Saint-Germain, the winners of the UEFA Champions League, can be had at the same odds, and they have two of the Ballon d'Or contenders in Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha in the squad, so it'll be interesting to see how they'll do.
Given the group stage draw, it's fair to say that all the top European teams will go through to the round of 16, where the real battle will start. FC Barcelona is not participating, but the Blaugrana fans will still have a team to cheer for in Inter Miami FC, with Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez all playing for the Florida outfit. Betting Inter to win Group A ahead of Porto, Palmeiras, and Al-Ahly at 4.00 is well worth considering.
As for the individual awards, Kylian Mbappe is the favourite to become the best goalscorer at 5.60. If our suggestions of Real Madrid doing everything possible to win the tournament are correct, this looks like a decent bet. In any case, the picture will be much clearer when the group stage is over, and we'll return ahead of the playoffs with more tips when we already know how determined each side is.
