The 2026 Six Nations Championship begins on 5 February, with England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales competing over five rounds of rugby union across Europe. France, as defending champions, now seek back-to-back titles. England will likely present the strongest challenge, with both teams scheduled to meet at Stade de France in the final match on 15 March.
The 2026 Winter Olympics, also named Milano Cortina 2026, will run from 6 to 22 February across Northern Italy. Milan will host most of the ice events. Meanwhile, the snow sports will be spread across mountain clusters around Cortina d'Ampezzo, Valtellina, and the Fiemme Valley. Fans will get the full Winter Olympics mix, with sports such as alpine skiing, biathlon, ice hockey, figure skating, snowboarding, and speed skating. The programme also features a notable addition, with ski mountaineering making its Olympic debut this year.
Ice hockey at this year's Winter Olympics is set to be the most competitive it has been in years. For the first time since 2014, National Hockey League players will take part in the tournament, with all 32 NHL teams having at least one representative. This means that Team Canada, the United States, and Sweden are set to ice full NHL line-ups.
The United States has not won an Olympic gold medal in men's hockey since the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" team.

BKFC KnuckleMania VI takes place on February 7 in Philadelphia. The organization has quietly grown into a second home for UFC veterans, where they continue to compete under brutal, no-gloves rules. Since Conor McGregor joined as a part-owner, the BKFC has started to draw more attention, pulling bigger names into the game.
This particular card is topped by former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski, who challenges Ben Rothwell for the heavyweight title, with Yoel "Soldier of God" Romero also set to step into the ring.

The Rio Open will be held from 16-22 February 2026 at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro. As South America's only ATP 500 tournament, it is an important stop on the clay-court calendar. Past and present stars such as Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, and Alexander Zverev have competed in Rio before and helped shape the tournament's reputation.
Argentine Sebastian Baez has already written his name into Rio Open history, becoming the first player to win the men's singles title twice, lifting back-to-back trophies. He is expected to return this season to defend his crown.
UFC Fight Night 267 takes place on 21 February at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The main event features a middleweight clash between former champion Sean Strickland and Anthony Hernandez. The card also includes fan-favourite welterweight Kevin Holland, who is set to face Geoff Neal.
