The December Challenge: Increasing the bankroll by 5 times!

By Serge Gorelikov | Published: December 1, 2025

Dear friends, I want to share an idea that's been on my mind for quite some time, and now is the perfect moment to make it real. I'm launching a challenge: to increase my betting bankroll by 5 times from December 1 to December 22.

The goal is simple and clear - to earn myself a cool present for Christmas. I'll do it through discipline, consistency, and smart decision-making, not by lucky shots.

Why now? December is the month when people sum up the year, close chapters, and want to treat themselves to something special. I don't want to buy my gift, but rather earn it as a result of a real sports marathon where every step matters.

🎯 The Goal

I'll start with the bankroll of €100. My target is to grow it by 5 times within 22 days, strictly following a plan, controlling emotions, and sticking to a clear strategy. This is not about hoping for a big odds hit. It is a steady path built on small, thoughtful decisions.

⚠️ The Difficulties

Let's be honest - it won't be easy. Betting is not a "press a button and get the money" game. It's mental work and emotional pressure. Here's what I know I will face:

1️⃣ Losing days

There will be bets that fail. That's not a mistake - it's a part of the journey. The key is not to chase losses or abandon the strategy after a single bad day.

2️⃣ Emotions

December is an emotional month, and betting often pushes your buttons. I'll have to keep a cool head even when the urge to "double down" or "believe in a miracle" kicks in.

3️⃣ Discipline

This is the hardest part - sticking to the plan, which is:

  • No bets on games I haven't analysed deeply.
  • No late-night "boredom bets".
  • No chaos.

Discipline is the key to growing our bankroll instead of watching it swing back and forth.

💡 How I'll Handle Losses

There's one main rule for the entire challenge. A loss is a signal to think - not to panic. After every missed bet, I'll do a short review:

  • Why did I make the bet?
  • Was my analysis deep enough?
  • Was there real value in it?
  • Does anything need to be adjusted?

The most important thing - strictly no gambling mode. We're not chasing luck - we're working on the long distance. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

🔥 What I Want at the End

December 22 is the final day. And here's what I aim to get:

✅ A clear understanding that growth comes from discipline, not chaos;

✅ A result built with logic, not randomness;

✅ And the best part - a real Christmas gift, bought with money I have earned through hard work, patience, and consistency.

And do you know what the real reward will be? Not the gift itself. It will be the feeling that I've completed a 22-day journey where I made decisions, controlled emotions, and followed my strategy every single day - and came out stronger.

If you want to follow this challenge, make sure to join me at MightyTips' Telegram channel, where I'll use the hashtag #DecemberChallenge. I'll honestly share the bankroll, my bets, and updates on my progress. December is our month. Let's go!

As a child, I couldn't find my sport for a long time. It all changed when I started watching the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France, and football has been my passion since. I played football myself, and also worked as a referee on an amateur level. I love to travel with my family and spend my free time with friends.
