Wolves come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Tottenham last weekend, a result that ended their five-match losing streak in the Premier League. While the draw offered some encouragement, Vítor Pereira’s side remain among the poorest performers in the league at both ends of the pitch. They have scored just four goals so far - the joint-worst attacking record alongside Newcastle and Aston Villa - while their defence has been far too leaky, conceding 13 goals in six matches. That makes Wolves the joint-second worst defensive side in the division, with only West Ham having conceded more.

On the injury front, Leon Chiwome is the only absentee for Wolves heading into this game.

Brighton, who are currently sitting comfortably in mid-table, recorded their biggest win of the season last weekend with a 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Fabian Hürzeler’s men benefited from the sending off of Trevoh Chalobah early in the second half, but it still required tremendous effort to turn the match around, with Maxim De Cuyper and Danny Welbeck scoring two decisive goals deep into stoppage time. The win ended Brighton’s two-match winless run, and another positive result on Sunday could even see them break into the top six, provided other teams above them drop points.

The visitors, on the other hand, have done slightly worse in the injury department: Hinshelwood, Webster, March, Veltman and Mitoma are all sidelined with injuries and will not feature at the weekend.
