Valerenga return to home soil after producing one of their best results of the season last weekend.

The Oslo side claimed a 3:2 win away to Brann, with Henrik Bjordal opening the scoring after 24 minutes before Carl Lange and Lucas Haren struck before half-time to put the visitors in control.

Despite conceding twice in the second period, Valerenga held on to secure a fine road victory.

Valerenga had thrashed Aalesund 6:1 in their previous home fixture, and with three wins in their last four, now sit seventh in the Eliteserien.

The hosts have now won each of their last three home Eliterserien fixtures. 

Head coach Johannes Moesgaard will be forced into some changes this week. Ivan Nasberg is suspended after his red card against Brann, while Kolbeinn Finnsson is also banned after reaching the yellow-card limit.

Omar Bully Drammeh remains sidelined with an Achilles tendon injury, while Odin Thiago Holm is unavailable because of a hamstring problem.

HamKam make the trip to Oslo looking to bounce back from a 1:0 defeat at Sarpsborg last weekend. Andreas Hansen’s first-half goal secured the points for the home side. 

Thomas Myhre’s side have now lost their last three matches, while they have picked up just one win from seven previous Eliteserien encounters. 

On the road, HamKam have been particularly poor, remaining winless from seven away Eliteserien fixtures this season. The visitors lost four of those seven games. 

Head coach Myhre HamKam has one confirmed absentee with Anton Ekeroth unavailable after reaching the yellow-card limit.
