Union SG vs Inter Milan prediction 21.10.2025 | Champions League

Last season, Union SG won their first title in the domestic league in the 21st century. They want to repeat that success, but also to progress to the next phase in the Champions League. Union SG are playing well in the Jupiler Pro League, where are at the top of the standings with three points more than Club Brugge. David Hubert's team seems to be on the right track in the Champions League, too, as they won three points in the opening two rounds. Union SG won six of the last eight matches. In the previous game, they won 3-1 at home against Charleroi. That match was pretty even, but the home side's excellent efficiency was enough for all three points. 

Sebastien Pocognoli guided Union SG to their first league title of the 21st century, but departed in the previous weeks to take charge of Monaco. At his place came David Hubert, who previously coached Anderlecht and OH Leuven. Hubert made a winning start to his tenure, leading Union SG to victory over Charleroi, and on Tuesday, he will face his Champions League debut with the Belgian champions.

Union SG doesn't have problems with injuries, as Mohammed Fuseini could be the only one to miss the upcoming game on Tuesday night. 

Inter finished last season as runners-up in both the Champions League and Serie A. Following the departure of head coach Simone Inzaghi, the club turned to Cristian Chivu in their bid to reclaim domestic dominance. The team seems to be on the right track as they are at the top of the standings in Serie A, while in the Champions League, Inter won both matches. Chivu's team won the previous six games in a row. In the last match, they won 1-0 on the road against AS Roma. The home side had xG of 1.35, while the guests had only 0.63, but Inter still found a way to another victory. 

Inter Milan have some problems ahead of the upcoming Champions League round. They will be without Matteo Darmian, Raffaele Di Gennaro, Tomas Palacios, and Marcus Thuram on Tuesday at Lotto Park.
