- Competition: Copa del Rey, 1/64 Finals
- Date: Tuesday, 28th October, 2025
- Kickoff: 20:00 UK / 21:00 CET
- Venue: Salto del Caballo (Toledo)
After securing their biggest win of the season, a Tercera Federación team (fifth tier), Toledo, will welcome La Liga side, Sevilla, in the Copa del Rey 1/64 Finals at Salto del Caballo in Toledo. While the hosts come to the match after winning back-to-back matches, they are a massive underdog against Sevilla, which will look to bounce back after losing their last two matches against Mallorca and Real Sociedad.
H2H stats
Interestingly, these teams met four times, but haven't met in the 21st century. All four h2h games were between 1997 and 1999, with Toledo winning two and Sevilla winning once. Those matches happened when these teams competed in La Liga 2.
Regarding the number of goals, just one of those four matches ended with three or more goals, while both teams scored in the same number of games.
Toledo team overview
After suffering relegation from the fourth tier in the 2021/22 season, Toledo finished eighth and third in the Tercera Federacion in the following seasons. Last year, they played in the playoffs to secure promotion, but were defeated by Villacanas in the Semi-Finals on a 2:1 aggregate. This year, Toledo looks like a real promotion candidate as they are currently sitting in the top spot with 16 points from eight rounds. And as the season progresses, they are only looking better and better. However, their goal in this game against a five-time Europa League winner is only to offer a good display and be somewhat competitive.

Sevilla team overview
Sevilla went from a team battling for Champions League spots and winning Europa League titles to a team that struggles to survive in the Spanish top-flight division. Last year, the popular Andalusian team finished 17th - just one point away from the danger zone. This year, Los Nervionenses have had some ups and downs, but are looking much better than last year as they are in 10th place with 13 points - three points away from the European spots. Their goal for this season has to be to finish among the top six or seven spots and return to Europe.
After a 2:1 loss vs Real Sociedad, coach Matías Almeyda spoke to the media. He said the game was pretty balanced, but that the eventual error in the second half cost them points in this match. When asked about the team's defense and whether they are conceding too many goals, the coach said they are giving away too many chances and constantly getting punished for them.

Prediction
Toledo have been pretty good for this bet as they went over 3.5 goals in two out of the last three games. The main reason for it is a really good offense, considering they scored a total of nine goals (three per game). So, maybe they could score against Sevilla as well, especially since it is expected that Sevilla will rotate the squad.
Sevilla went over 2.5 goals in eight out of ten games this season and also over 3.5 goals in four out of those ten matches. Also, in this game against a fifth-tier team, we would be shocked if they failed to score four or five goals, especially as they proved they could score that many against one of the best teams in the World, Barcelona (4:1 win).
Considering all the above, we expect a big win for the visitors and, more importantly for our bet, at least four goals in the game.
3 Reasons why we should see four or more goals
- Both teams went over 3.5 goals in two of the last three games
- Toledo scored nine goals in the previous three games
- Sevilla scored two or more goals in half of their ten La Liga games
Main prediction Toledo - Sevilla
Over 3.5 goals
