According to the English media reports, two players who missed the previous game, Simon Adingra and Omar Alderete, recovered from the muscle injury and a concussion and will be available. On the other hand, Ajibola Alese, Dennis Cirkin, Habib Diarra, Leo Fuhr Hjelde, and Romaine Mundle, who missed the previous games, should remain sidelined.

Everton are one of the teams that have never suffered relegation from the Premier League, at least in this format. However, they came super close to it in the last few consecutive seasons. This year, the Toffees had a slightly better start, but they are far from impressive. Right now, after nine rounds, they are in 14th place with 11 points. Luckily, the bottom three teams (Wolves, West Ham, and Nottingham) have been terrible, and because of it, the Toffees are six points away from the danger zone.

However, due to their poor set-piece defense, they suffered a big defeat. "We need to be more clinical and a bit more creative about how we can make better chances.
