PSV Eindhoven vs Napoli prediction 21.10.2025 | UEFA Champions League

PSV warmed up for Tuesday's UCL contest with a hard-fought 2:1 win against Go Ahead Eagles on Saturday. Guus Til's brace secured the points for Peter Bosz's boys. 

The Dutch hosts have enjoyed a decent run of form since a disappointing 3:1 home reversal against USG last month. PSV won three and drew two of their last five games, including a 1:1 draw at Leverkusen and a 2:2 share of the spoils against Ajax.

Goals are usually on the menu when the Rood-witten are in action. Six of PSV's last seven games finished with both teams scoring while four of those games saw a minimum of three goals scored. 

Head coach Peter Bosz has three expected absentees this week. Kilian Sildillia and Alassane Pléa are injury doubts, while Ruben van Bommel is ruled out with a serious knee injury.

Napoli turn their attention to Champions League business after a disappointing 1:0 Serie A defeat at Torino on Friday evening. Giovanni Simeone's first-half goal secured the points for Il Toro.

While usually a defensively solid outfit, the Neapolitans have not been at their best in recent weeks. Napoli have seen BTTS in four of their last five games including a 2:1 Champions League win against Sporting earlier this month. Conte's men failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven games. 

Head coach Conte has a handful of potential absentees this week. Rasmus Højlund, Romelu Lukaku, Stanislav Lobotka and Amir Rrahmani miss out while Matteo Politano and Scott McTominay face late fitness tests.
