It is too early to talk about titles, but PSG doesn't look as dominant as it used to be. They are second in Ligue 1, one point behind Lens. Also, some of the latest PSG's performances are worrying. They won the last five matches across all competitions, but in most games, Luis Enrique's team was below their usual level. In their latest outing, PSG needed a penalty shootout to defeat Marseille in the Super Cup. They were on the brink of defeat before Goncalo Ramos struck a dramatic late equaliser in stoppage time, giving Rogue et Bleu a lifeline. PSG then held their nerve in the shootout to secure yet another trophy.

The January transfer window has started, and PSG still haven't made any move. According to the reports, they are among the interested clubs in RB Leipzig's winger Yan Diomande. 

Achraf Hakimi is at the African Cup of Nations and will not play on Monday against Paris FC. Also, Matvey Safonov and Quentin Ndjantou are unavailable due to injuries. 

Paris FC came into their debut Ligue 1 season with ambitions to avoid a relegation battle. However, after 17 league rounds, they are only two points ahead of the drop zone and have to do much better in the coming months. Paris FC haven't played well lately, with only one victory in the previous seven games. In the last match, they lost 2-1 on the road against PSG. 

Paris FC's first addition this winter is Luca Koleosho, who came on loan from Burnley. The winger spent the first part of the season on loan at Espanyol, where he appeared in only three La Liga matches. 

Paris FC have big problems with missing players. They will be without Sofiane Alakouch, Samir Chergui, Nouha Dicko, Pierre-Yves Hamel, Ilan Kebbal, Jean-Philippe Krasso, Pierre Lees-Melou, Moses Simon, and Hamari Traore in the upcoming clash at Parc des Princes.
