Nice have yet to reach the standards of the 2024–25 campaign, when they finished fourth. Les Aiglons dropped to the Europa League after losing both their Champions League play-off ties with Benfica, and they are also not faring well in the league.
Franck Haise’s team have already suffered three Ligue 1 defeats this season, including 4–1 against Brest last weekend and 3–1 against Le Havre at the end of last month.
