After finishing in the top three teams in Ligue 1 last year, but still too far from the championship title, the team from Stade Louis II seems to have more chances of lifting the trophy in the current campaign. After ten rounds, Pocognoli's team is only one point behind the league leader. Monaco played well recently, and they have been undefeated in the last six matches. In the previous game, Monaco triumphed 5-3 on the road against Nantes. The guests' defense wasn't on the usual level, but the spectacular offense was enough for another victory. 

Paul Pogba signed up for Monaco this summer, but he still didn't make a debut due to thigh problems. The midfielder didn't play for 18 months due to suspension. Sebastien Pocognoli suggested Pogba could be among the players in the upcoming clash against Paris FC. 

Monaco have big problems with injuries. Caio Henrique, Lamine Camara, Eric Dier, Lukas Hradecky, Vanderson, and Denis Zakaria are unavailable for Saturday evening. Also, Christian Mawissa is questionable and his status will be clearer closer to the kickoff.

The home side was 3-0 down, but they found a way to return in the match and salvage one point.

Paris FC's head coach, Stephane Gilli, was satisfied with the team's reaction at 3-0. He said, "We showed we have character. But why wait until we're behind? I have a few explanations, perhaps... Why not start matches with the same intensity, the same intention? At the start of the match, some players weren't at their best, lacking a bit of personality. Our feet were shaking. We'll have to improve quickly on that."

Paris FC will be without Thibault De Smet, Sofiane Alakouch, Nhoa Sangui, Julien Lopez, Pierre-Yves Hamel, and Mathieu Cafaro on Saturday at Stade Louis II, while Jonathan Ikone is questionable.
