Middlesbrough return to Championship action after securing a dramatic 4:3 victory against Norwich at Riverside Stadium on Saturday.

Sebastian Berhalter scored twice and Amario Cozier-Duberry was also on target as Boro established a 3:1 advantage before half-time. Norwich fought back to level the contest, but substitute Ashley Phillips struck in stoppage time to secure all three points for Kim Hellberg's side.

Now unbeaten in their last four matches, Boro have made a strong start to their league campaign, collecting 13 points from six league fixtures. 

A strong home record has seen Middlesbrough win each of their three league games on Teesside while scoring nine goals in the process. They have lost only five of their last 26 Championship fixtures at the Riverside.

Millwall make the trip north after suffering a disappointing 3:1 defeat against Blackburn at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Lyndon Dykes converted a penalty to bring the Lions level, but second-half goals from Oladapo Afolayan and Andri Gudjohnsen condemned Alex Neil’s side to another away defeat.

The Lions have now lost four of their last five matches in all competitions. Neill’s men conceded 11 goals in their last four league fixtures, although a 4:0 victory against Bolton offered a brief return to form.

While the Londoners lost only two of 23 away games last season, they have now lost their last two road games, including a 5:1 defeat at Southampton earlier this month.

Head coach Neil remains unable to call on several first-team players. Josh Coburn, Casper De Norre, Tristan Crama, Alfie Doughty, Mathis Servais, Mihailo Ivanovic, Massimo Luongo, Lukas Jensen and Ryan Leonard are all expected to miss out.

Dykes should retain his place at the spearhead of the attack after scoring at Blackburn, while Mark Sykes is pushing for a start following his half-time introduction.
