Leeds return to Elland Road after a heart-breaking 3:2 defeat against Manchester City last weekend. Having fought back from two goals behind at the interval, Phil Foden's stoppage-time goal secured a vital victory for the Citizens. 

Daniel Farke's side have endured a miserable run of results in recent weeks, with just one win and six defeats recorded from their seven most recent fixtures. 

A high-scoring outcome seems likely at Elland Road. Leeds have seen over 2.5 goals in eight of their last nine matches. Six of the last eight meetings also finished with a minimum of three goals scored. The hosts lost two of their last three games at this venue - with both games finishing with three goals or more scored.

Head coach Farke has three confirmed absentees this week. Injured trio Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach and Sebastiaan Bornauw remain sidelined.

Chelsea come into Wednesday's Premier League contest after a hard-fought 1:1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday. Despite Moises Caicedo's first-half red card, the Blues held on for a crucial point at Stamford Bridge. 

A strong run of form has seen Enzo Maresca's men pick up victories in five of their last seven games, including a superb 3:0 win against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League last week.

Unbeaten in 11 of their last 12 games, the Blues picked up nine wins in that period, and now sit third in the Premier League, six points behind league leaders Arsenal. 

Head coach Maresca will be forced into at least one change to his selection this week. Moises Caicedo is suspended after his red card against the Gunners. Romeo Lavia and Levi Colwell remain injury absentees for the visitors.
