KFUM Oslo vs Valerenga prediction 12.10.2026 | Eliteserien

Although they are among the worst Eliteserien teams for the third season in a row, KFUM Oslo are successfully avoiding relegation. With nine rounds left in the 2026 season, Jorgen Isnes' team are four points above the relegation playoff zone. KFUM Oslo are in a solid position, but any slip in form could prove costly. Isnes' team are in excellent form with three consecutive victories. In the most recent outing, they won 2-0 on the road in the cup against Honefoss. The visitors dominated throughout the game, and it is no wonder they progressed to the next phase. 

The main reason for KFUM Oslo's recent good form is their defense. They conceded only two goals in their last three matches and will need similar performances to finish the 2026 season successfully. 

KFUM Oslo have problems with missing players. They will be without Ayoub Aleesami and Robin Rasch, while Tore Andre Soras is questionable. The good news for the head coach Jorgen Isnes and his team is that Magnus Retsius Grodem recovered during the international break and even participated in the cup tie against Division 2 side Honefoss. 

Valerenga were five-time Norwegian champions, but those days are long gone, as the team is currently among the worst teams in the country's top flight. Valerenga are only two points above the relegation playoff zone, and every point could prove crucial. Johannes Moesgaard's team is far from ideal, having won only once in their last five matches across all competitions. In the previous game, they played 1-1 at home against Fredrikstad. The hosts had better goal-scoring chances and were closer to victory, but their inefficiency cost them two valuable points. 

Omar Bully Drammeh should be the only one unavailable for the upcoming tie at KFUM Arena. The good news is that one of Valerenga's best players,  Fidel Brice Ambina, finally recovered after missing five consecutive matches and could start on Monday evening.
