An in-form Inter Turku look to extend their impressive unbeaten run when they make the trip to take on mid-table hosts IF Gnistan this week.

Eleven games into the Veikkausliiga season, Inter Turku sit proudly at the top of the division having yet to taste domestic defeat. An excellent run of results has seen the visitors score seven victories, including four of their last five league fixtures. A thumping 5:0 win against KTP in their most recent outing leaves the visitors two points clear at the top of the division, having played one game fewer than nearest rival HJK.

Equally impressive on their travels, Vesa Vasarai's side picked up wins in four of their five previous away matches, including a 1:0 success at Jaro earlier this month. 

The Veikkausliiga leaders also had the better of recent meetings with Gnistan, with victories earned in each of their last three encounters. 

IF Gnistan return to action after a goalless draw against VPS last week. With just one win in their last five league matches, Jussi Leppälahti's side now find themselves seventh in the division, already ten points behind Inter Turku after just 11 games. 

An inconsistent home record has seen Gnistan slip to defeat in two of five games played at Oulunkylä Football Stadium this season, and a similar outcome seems likely given the excellent form of the away side.
