Galatasaray vs Kasimpasa prediction 09.10.2026 | Super Lig

Galatasaray are dominant in Turkish football. They won four consecutive Super Lig titles and are aiming for another this season. That could be harder than ever, as a few more teams are making great investments to retake the throne. After six rounds, Galatasaray share the top position in the standings with Amedspor, but with a slightly weaker goal difference. Okan Buruk's team didn't play well before the international break, losing two of the last three matches across all competitions. In the previous game, they lost 4-0 away to Trabzonspor. The visitors were terrible, especially in defense, and eventually suffered a heavy defeat. 

The biggest news for Galatasaray is that Victor Osimhen could be ready for Friday after missing the previous three matches with a groin injury. The striker has already scored six goals in four matches this season. Also, Mario Lemina and Gunay Güvenç should return against Kasimpasa, too. On the other hand, Roland Sallai and Wilfried Singo are still questionable. 

Kasimpasa are one of the most stable mid-table teams in the Super Lig, and they have a similar aim for the 2026/27 campaign, too. Kasimpasa are the only unbeaten team in the league, with two wins and four draws so far. In the previous game, they played 0-0 at home against Konyaspor. The guests were the slightly better side, but Kasimpasa defended well and eventually secured another valuable point. 

The biggest problem for Kasimpasa is the injury to Adrian Benedyczak. The Polish striker has already scored four goals this season, and in his absence, Thiemoko Diarra will likely start. Also, Kasimpasa will be without Kamil Ahmet Çörekçi and Godfried Frimpong, while Mortadha Ben Ouanes is questionable. The good news is that Andri Baldursson recovered from a hamstring injury and could start on Friday in Istanbul.
