Galatasaray vs Besiktas prediction 04.10.2025 | Super Lig

Galatasaray return to domestic business after a scrappy 1:0 win against Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday. Victor Osimhen's penalty proved the difference-maker in Istanbul.

Okan Buruk's side have been in great form, winning eight and losing just one of nine games played this season. The only blemish in an otherwise perfect campaign was a 5:1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt in the UCL earlier this month.

A dominant home record will give Gala plenty of confidence this weekend. Buruk's men won each of their last ten games at Rams Park Stadyumu.

Head coach Buruk is unlikely to make too many changes from the side that began the midweek win against Liverpool. The home side have no reported injury issues this week.

Besiktas make the short trip to Rams Park Stadyumu after picking up back-to-back victories in the Super Lig in the past ten days. After a convincing 4:0 win against Kayserispor, the Black Eagles claimed a 3:1 home success against Kocaelispor last weekend. 

Sergen Yalcin's side had slipped to defeat in three of four previous fixtures, including two of their last three domestic fixtures.

While Besikas proved tough to beat on their travels last season, they have already lost two of their first three away league fixtures. By way of comparison, Yalcin's men lost just three of 16 road games in the previous campaign. 

Head coach Yalcin is likely to stick with much of the same XI that claimed victory against Kocaelispor. Jota Silva and Cengiz Ünder are among those who could come into contention for a starting berth.
