Inter Turku have been among the most consistent teams in Finland this season. They have accumulated 24 points from 11 league matches, scoring 17 goals while conceding only eight, a tally that is tied for the second-best defensive record in the league alongside four other teams. Their defensive record is one of the strongest in the division, averaging less than one goal conceded per game.

The Turku side arrive in excellent form, having won four of their last five league matches, dropping points only in a 1-1 draw against KuPS before the summer international break. At home, they remain unbeaten, recording four wins and two draws from their first six league matches at Veritas Stadion, while scoring in five of those six fixtures.

One concern for the visitors is their historical record in Turku. Oulu have struggled away to Inter in recent years, winning just one of their last seven Veikkausliiga visits to Veritas Stadion. Nevertheless, their current form suggests they are capable of making life difficult for the hosts, having scored in five of their last six away matches.

As with Inter, no significant injury absences have been confirmed at the time of writing, although team news should be monitored closer to matchday. Midfielder Rasmus Karjalainen has been the bright spark in Oulu's attack this season, scoring seven goals during the opening months of the campaign.
