The first leg was the first competitive meeting between the clubs and finished 3-3. Robert scored twice for Copenhagen before Mads Emil Madsen restored their advantage in the second half, but goals from Ihor Krasnopir, Oleh Fedor and the late strike from Oleksandr Filippov kept the tie perfectly balanced heading into the return fixture.
FC Copenhagen team overview
FC København enter the decisive second leg in positive spirits after beginning their Danish Superliga campaign with an entertaining 3-2 home victory over Lyngby. That result extended their unbeaten start to the new season and demonstrated the attacking quality within Bo Svensson's squad, although defensive frailties remain an area requiring improvement after conceding five goals across their opening two competitive matches.
Home advantage could prove decisive. Parken has traditionally been a difficult venue for visiting clubs in European competition, and Copenhagen's experience at this level gives them a significant edge in handling high-pressure knockout matches.
Although København have traditionally been strong at Parken, they have not always been defensively impenetrable in Europe. Over the past five seasons, the Danish side have failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 of their 18 home UEFA matches.
Bo Svensson continues to deal with several injury concerns. Hunor Nemeth, Dominik Sarapata, Rodrigo Huescas, Magnus Mattsson and Viktor Dagason remain unavailable, although experienced full-back Birger Meling returned to action domestically after missing the first leg for personal reasons and could feature from the start.

Polissya Zhytomyr team overview
Polissya once again demonstrated why they have become one of Ukraine's fastest-rising clubs. After finishing third in the Ukrainian Premier League last season, Ruslan Rotan's side continue to impress in European competition, having gained valuable continental experience during last year's run to the Conference League play-off round.
Although Polissya's pre-season results were mixed before European qualification began, their attacking play has looked sharp in competitive action. The main concern remains their defensive organisation, particularly against quick combinations around the penalty area, with København exploiting those spaces several times in the first leg.
Rotan is expected to have virtually a full-strength squad available, with no major fresh injury concerns reported following last week's draw.

Prediction
Expect another entertaining contest with chances at both ends, but FC København’s greater squad depth and experience in European knockout football should prove decisive. Still, given how leaky Copenhagen's defence has been in recent matches, the Ukrainian side are likely to find the net at least once on Wednesday.
Prediction: Both Teams to Score - BTTS.
Three reasons we expect BTTS
- BTTS was the final outcome of the first leg a week ago.
- København have failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 of their last 18 UEFA matches at Parken.
- København were also unable to contain Lyngby in the opening match of the 2026/27 Danish Superliga season, conceding twice at home.
