England vs Serbia prediction 13.11.2025 | World Cup 2026 qualifiers

England return to Wembley on Thursday with qualification and top spot in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group already secured. 

The Three Lions have been flawless so far, winning all six of their matches, scoring 18 goals white maintaining a perfect defensive record with zero conceded.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have dominated Group K, including emphatic 5:0 victories over Serbia in September and Latvia last month. With a 100% record to protect, England will look to deliver another commanding performance in front of their home fans this week.

A superb run of form in the past year has seen England win all but one of their last 11 games, while they remain unbeaten in World Cup qualifiers since 2009.

Head coach Tuchel has handed recalls to Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Adam Wharton, and Nick Pope. James Trafford, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Morgan Gibbs-White, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ollie Watkins have dropped out of the 25-man squad.

Serbia make the trip to Wembley under pressure after a difficult run of results in Group K. A 1:0 home defeat against Albania last month leaves the Serbs third in the standings, one point behind the Albanians and no longer able to qualify automatically.

Following the shock home defeat against Albania, head coach Dragan Stojkovic was removed from his post, with Veljko Paunović taking charge for the remainder of the campaign. 

The out-of-form Eagles have lost two of their last three qualifiers, including a heavy 5:0 defeat to England in Belgrade two months ago. With their playoff hopes now hanging in the balance, Serbia need a big response to keep their World Cup dream alive 

Head coach Paunović has a 27-man squad available for Thursday's World Cup qualifier. All-time leading scorer Aleksandar Mitrović is a notable absentee from the selection.
