Turks and Caicos Islands vs Montserrat prediction 23.09.2026 | CONCACAF Nations League

Turks and Caicos Islands haven't had a match in more than a year. Their previous competition was two years ago in the previous edition of the Nations League, when Turks and Caicos Islands finished third with three points in four matches in the group with Belize and Anguilla. Since then, Aaron Lawrence's team has played only one friendly, losing on penalties to the US Virgin Islands. In regular time, it was 1-1. 

The biggest problem for the Turks and Caicos Islands is their inability to score. They scored only four goals in the last eight matches. With their current options, Turks and Caicos is unlikely to do significantly better in the upcoming matches. 

Most Turks and Caicos Islands players play for four teams in the domestic league: Cheshire Hall, SWA Sharks, Academy Eagles, and Flamingo FC. The only player outside the home country is Kyle Belizaire, who is in the Jamaican Cavelier. The best player is 35-year-old forward Billy Forbes, who spent his career in the US lower leagues but now plays for SWA Sharks. He appeared in 37 matches for the Turks and Caicos Islands and scored 19 goals. 

Like the Turks and Caicos Islands, Montserrat too didn't have a game in more than a year. In the previous Nations League, they played in League B, where they finished fourth with three points from six matches and were relegated to the lower level. Since then, Montserrat has had two World Cup games, in which they beat Belize but lost to Guyana. Now, Gabriel Calderon's team turns to the Nations League, where they should have a good chance to finish first in the group and return to League B. 

Montserrat also have big problems scoring. They scored only two goals in the last five matches. However, playing the next games in League C will help improve the impression of Montserrat's offense. 

Montserrat have a couple of interesting players. One is Nico Gordon, a defender for Monterey Bay. He appeared in 16 USL matches in 2026. Defensive midfielder Brandon Comley is another who could have a big role for Montserrat on Wednesday against the Turks and Caicos Islands.
