Chelsea come into Saturday's Premier League contest now winless in four games after a disappointing 2:1 defeat against Atalanta in the Champions League earlier this week. 

Despite taking the lead in Italy, defensive vulnerabilities proved the Blues undoing as they slipped to a second away defeat in December.

At the Bridge, Chelsea have also struggled to find consistency in performance. Maresca's men failed to win four of seven home league games, including defeats against Sunderland and Brighton.

Head coach Maresca is unable to call on several players this weekend. Chelsea remain without several key players. Roméo Lavia, Liam Delap, Levi Colwill and Wesley Fofana are all ruled out with injury issues while Moisés Caicedo is suspended and unavailable for selection.

Everton make the trip to London with every reason to be confident of their chances this weekend. David Moyes's men scored an impressive 3:0 win against Nottingham Forest last weekend, with summer signing Thierno Barry finally bagging his first goal for the Toffees. 

An excellent run of form has seen Everton rise up the Premier League table. The Toffees won four and lost just one of their last six league games, and now sit seventh in the division, just one point behind Chelsea.

On the road, Moyes's side have significantly improved this season, with the visitors winning three of seven games played, while they are unbeaten in each of their three most recent away fixtures. 

Scottish boss Moyes has three confirmed absentees this weekend. Jarrad Branthwaite, Séamus Coleman and Merlin Röhl remain sidelined for the visitors.
