With three games still to play and just seven points separating Charlotte from the top spot, their chances of winning the MLS are still alive, but it is no longer in their hands.

The Crown have shown that they can win all three remaining games, having won and kept a clean sheet in each of their last two matches.

Wilfried Zaha scored his tenth goal of the campaign against Philadelphia before being sent off late in the game, so the former Palace player will be unavailable on Tuesday.

Other players unavailable for Charlotte are Nimfasha Berchimas, Harry Toffolo, Pep Biel, Nikola Petković and Drake Callender, who are all dealing with injuries.

Meanwhile, New York City are nine points behind the leaders and have lost three of their last four matches.

Pascal Jansen’s side fought hard to get back in the game in the 80th minute after going behind at the half-hour mark against Seattle Sounders at the Yankee Stadium last weekend.

As has been the case in most of their encounters this season, the Pigeons conceded a late goal and suffered a second consecutive defeat. New York City have now conceded nine goals in their last four games alone, and this is something coach Jansen will need to address if they are to finish the campaign on a high.

Malachi Jones and Keaton Parks remain out of action with leg injuries, while Jacob Arroyave is dealing with a knee injury.  Aiden O'Neill is just one yellow card away from suspension, but there are no suspended players in the visitors' ranks.
