Celtic have another good season. After four consecutive titles in the Scottish Premiership, they are currently three points behind the league leader, Hearts, but with one game fewer played. In the Europa League, Celtic had some bad matches, but they still have a good chance to progress to the next phase.

Celtic were in excellent form lately. They have won five matches in a row until last weekend, when Wilfried Nancy's team lost 2-1 at home against Hearts. The home side had significantly higher xG (1.58 to 0.52), but the guests' outstanding efficiency was enough to leave Celtic empty-handed.

In most of the current campaign, AS Roma played well. However, it seems their form slowed down recently, as Gasperini's team lost the previous two games. In the most recent outing, AS Roma lost 1-0 on the road against Cagliari. Zeki Celik's red card at the start of the second half changed the match completely, so AS Roma suffered another defeat.

After a loss against Cagliari, Gian Piero Gasperini said, "At a certain point, there was very little football; it was a battle. We were unable to get the game back on track down to 10 men, but when matches go in that direction, the best you can do is take home a point and we nearly did it. Perhaps we just didn't manage to adapt to the situation and made some cheap errors."

Artem Dovbyk, Edoardo Bove, and Angelino are unavailable for the trip to Glasgow.
