Brann and Fenerbahçe meet on Thursday evening in a key continental qualification clash in Norway.
Both sides arrive with identical records in this season’s competition, suggesting a closely matched encounter lies ahead.
With this their first-ever meeting in Bergen, an intense and open contest is expected, with both teams capable of creating plenty of goalscoring chances.
Brann team overview
Brann return to the Europa League with spirits raised after claiming a much-needed 3:1 win against HamKam in the Norwegian Eliteserien last weekend. Emil Kornvig's late goal put the seal on a first win in six games for the Pride of Bergen. Before last weekend's vital victory, Brann had drawn three and lost three of six games since a 3:2 win at Rosenborg in October.
Despite their recent form, Brann have proven a tough side to beat at home, and they will fancy their chances of picking up a positive result on Thursday. The hosts lost just two of 15 home league fixtures last season, while they have won both of their two home Europa League fixtures.
Very much in contention to qualify for the Europa League knockout phase, the Pride of Bergen have picked up two wins and two draws from five games completed. Freyr Alexanderssonoth's side sit 19th in the competition, with eight points on the board.
Usually a reliable choice for goal chasers, six of the Norwegians last eight games finished with both teams on the scoresheet.
Freyr Alexanderssonoth is unable to call on several first-team players.Sævar Atli Magnússon, Felix Horn Myhre, Jonas Torsvik, Niklas Jensen Wassberg, Sakarias Opsahl and Tom Bramel are all ruled out for the Norwegians.

Fenerbahce team overview
Fenerbahce make the trip to Norway after a remarkable run of draws in the past month. The Turks have been held in four of their six matches, including three successive 1:1 draws ahead of their trip to Norway.
Unbeaten in their last 13 games, Fenerbahce have enjoyed a decent start to their Europa League campaign. Domenic Tedesco's side have the same record as Brann - picking up two wins and two draws from five fixtures.
Like the hosts, the Canaries have been a solid choice for BTTS fans in recent weeks. Each of their last five games finished with both teams on the scoresheet.
Head coach Tedesco also has several absentees. Cenk Tosun and Nélson Semedo are ruled out, Jhon Durán is suspended, and Çağlar Söyüncü is doubtful.

Prediction
An evenly matched contest is likely to see both teams create plenty of goalscoring opportunities. BTTS is my best bet for Thursday's Europa League contest.
Three Reasons Why We Expect BTTS
- Brann have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 8 matches
- Brann have seen BTTS in 4 of their last 5 home matches
- Fenerbahce have seen BTTS in their last 5 matches
Main prediction -
Both Teams to Score
