Chris Davies’s side have now drawn both of their opening Championship fixtures, having previously played out a goalless stalemate against Sheffield United.

Birmingham began their competitive campaign with a 1:0 victory at Swansea in the first round of the Carabao Cup. The Blues are now unbeaten in their opening three competitive fixtures, conceding only twice and keeping two clean sheets.

The ambitious home side finished tenth in the Championship last season, collecting 64 points from their 46 league matches while losing only three of 24 home fixtures.

Head coach Davies is likely to rotate his selection following Saturday’s draw against Bristol City. Luis Vázquez, Demarai Gray, Patrick Roberts, Kanya Fujimoto and Marvin Ducksch are among those pushing for starting places.

Summer arrivals Dael Fry, James Beadle, Kristoffer Lund, Jhon Solís, Luis Vázquez and Max Bird are all available to feature.

Marc Leonard is the only confirmed injury absentee. The midfielder remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Andrews is expected to make several changes after Saturday’s Premier League opener. Hákon Valdimarsson, Aaron Hickey, Ethan Pinnock, Mikkel Damsgaard, Jaidon Anthony and Callum Wilson are among those who could come into the starting XI.

Summer signings Anthony, Sangaré, Jannik Schuster and Wilson are all eligible to feature at St. Andrew’s.

The visitors have two confirmed injury absentees. Sepp van den Berg remains unavailable with a groin injury, while Antoni Milambo continues his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury.
