Thanksgiving is always a special day for American football fans, as they get to watch three NFL games on Thursday. MightyTips previews each of those battles, analysing odds and team form before making a prediction on the outcomes, while giving out a few valuable bets.

We start with a key clash in the NFC North. Most thought these teams would battle it out for first place in the division, yet currently, they are behind the Chicago Bears. The Packers have a slightly better record, but a loss here would really hurt either team and their chances to reach the playoffs.
JAHMYR GIBBS IS THE BEST RUNNINGBACK IN THE NFL

The Packers won 27-13 in Week 1, but this game is a completely different story. The Lions are 4-1 at home this season and have taken six of their last eight matchups with the Packers. Since Week 10, Detroit have been putting up 29 points per game, and no player in the league has produced more total yards (582) or touchdowns (6) during that stretch than their running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
| Moneyline | |
| Green Bay Packers | 2.25 |
| Detroit Lions | 1.66 |
| Spread | |
| Packers +2.5 points | 1.95 |
| Lions -2.5 points | 1.86 |
| Total | |
| Over 49.0 points | 1.90 |
| Under 49.0 points | 1.90 |
We expect a close game that should go down to the wire. The Lions have some problems with their defence and offensive line, but it's really hard to ignore the recent form of Jahmyr Gibbs. He should find holes in the Packers' defence, even though the latter was pretty solid recently.
Prediction: Detroit Lions beating Green Bay Packers 27-20.
Recommended bet: Detroit Lions -2.5 points at 1.86.
This one should be even better, as we are up for the battle of two, arguably, most-hated teams in the league. Both produced stunning comebacks on Sunday. Patrick Mahomes drove the Chiefs, participants of the last three Super Bowls, past the in-form Indianapolis Colts, but Dak Prescott played an even more impressive game. He led the Cowboys to a franchise record, a 21-point comeback against the defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Both teams desperately need another win, as they lost a lot of ground at the beginning of the season. The teams are in the top-10 in scoring, while both Mahomes and Prescott find themselves in the top-three in scoring yards. Whoever wins at AT&T Stadium, expect fireworks with touchdowns coming at will.
| Moneyline | |
| Kansas City Chiefs | 1.54 |
| Dallas Cowboys | 2.55 |
| Spread | |
| Chiefs -3.0 points | 1.86 |
| Cowboys +3.0 points | 1.95 |
| Total | |
| Over 52.0 points | 1.90 |
| Under 52.0 points | 1.90 |
One thing to note here, in case you love betting the underdogs: Dallas are 3-1 at home, while Kansas City is 1-4 away. Still, given that both sides lack stability and make silly mistakes quite often, choosing the side here is a complicated thing. What's more certain, attack should prevail over defence in this one, and we hope that the over will be hit long before the game ends.
Prediction: Gun to the head, Mahomes pulls off another miracle, and the Chiefs win, say, 35-33.
Recommended bet: Over 52.0 points at 1.90.
The last meal of the day is an intriguing AFC North encounter. The Bengals are 3-8 this season, and that just shows what it's like to play without a classy quarterback. However, Joe Burrow should return for this one, and it's his duty to end the season on a high note and provide some joy for the Cincinnati fans.

What could be better for them than making life miserable for the Baltimore Ravens? The Ravens started the season 1-5, losing Lamar Jackson in the process. They are on a five-game winning streak now, yet their star quarterback wasn't impressive in the last three, to say the least. Baltimore must win this game to make a grip on the division, but beating such low-level teams as the Vikings, Browns and Jets in November wasn't anything but easy.
| Moneyline | |
| Cincinnati Bengals | 3.60 |
| Baltimore Ravens | 1.31 |
| Spread | |
| Bengals +7.0 points | 1.83 |
| Ravens -7.0 points | 2.00 |
| Total | |
| Over 51.5 points | 1.90 |
| Under 51.5 points | 1.90 |
With all due respect to Burrow, even his return will not make Cincinnati's task much simpler. The Ravens are of a higher class, however, they looked very vulnerable in November games against weak teams. Jackson threw just one TD pass this month with two interceptions, and running back Derrick Henry was their biggest weapon. Betting on Baltimore at such low odds has no value, and the handicap is quite big to cover for the team that lacks reliability. With Burrow returning, we'll opt for Ja'Marr Chase scoring a touchdown, and the recent suspension for spitting should only fire the wide receiver up.
Prediction: Baltimore gets another win, and it's another nervous one. Something like 27-21.
Recommended bet: Ja'Marr Chase to score a TD at 1.83.
