Lens saw their ten-game winning run end away at Marseille last weekend, but that defeat looks more like a bump on the road than a turning point. Pierre Sage's side remain one of the most reliable home teams in France, winning nine straight matches and conceding just three goals there all season. A win on Friday would temporarily send them back to the top of Ligue 1, ahead of PSG. Defensively, Lens have four consecutive clean sheets at home. It shows just how hard they are to break down on their own turf.
Le Havre deserve credit for a solid start to 2026. They have been unbeaten since the new year and have conceded no more than once in each of those matches. However, most of that resilience has come at home. Away from home, results remain a problem, with no wins in their last four Ligue 1 trips and just one victory in nine away league matches overall. Injuries in defence further limit their margin for error here.
