Verona vs Parma prediction 23.11.2025 | Serie A

Verona were a regular relegation candidate in the previous few seasons, but they always found a way to stay in the league. The current campaign will not be any easier as the team from Marc'Antonio Bentegodi collected only six points in 11 league matches and is one of two teams without a victory so far. Verona lost two of the last three games. In the most recent outing, they played 0-0 on the road against Lecce. That match was pretty even, so it is not surprising that the teams split the points. 

The main reason for the terrible Verona results this season is their attack. They are the worst-attacking team in Serie A, with only six goals in 11 league rounds. Paolo Zanetti's team has to improve that segment to have any real chance of avoiding relegation. 

Verona could have almost the whole squad available for Sunday's game against Parma. Tomas is the only one confirmed as out, while Yellu Santiago, Daniel Oyegoke, and Suat Serdar are questionable. 

Parma could have another tough season. They are currently only one point above the relegation zone, and if nothing changes, Carlos Cuesta's team could again have a stressful year. Parma are without a victory in the last six matches in all competitions. In the most recent outing, they played 2-2 at home against AC Milan. That was one of Parma's better performances this season, as they trailed 2-0, but Cuesta's team impressed in the rest of the match and salvaged a point.  

Parma's goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki, suffered a fracture in the previous Serie A round and will miss the next three to four months. With the Japanese being one of the best players in the team this season and no quality backup in the squad, Parma are close to signing Vicente Guaita on a free transfer. The 38-year-old Spanish goalkeeper has been without a club since his contract with Celta Vigo expired in July. However, if Guaita doesn't come on time, Parma will have to rely on Edoardo Corvi. 

Besides Suzuki, Parma will also be without Matija Frigan, Jacob Ondrejka, and Alessandro Circati on Sunday in Verona. Also, Gaetano Oristanio, Nahuel Estevez, and Pontus Almqvist are questionable.
