The Whitecaps come into the MLS playoffs having enjoyed a historic campaign, setting club records for points (63), wins (18), away victories (8), goals scored (66) and goal difference (+28). 

Jesper Sørensen´s side claimed a fourth straight Canadian Championship while they finished second in the Western Conference, missing out on top spot only by a single win despite a superior goal difference than title winners San Diego.

FC Dallas make the trip to Canada after squeezing into the playoffs with a 2:1 win against Vancouver on the final day of the MLS regular season. Kaick´s second-half goal secured a massive win for the Toros. 

A solid run of form towards the end of the campaign saw Eric Quill´s side win four and lose just one of eight MLS fixtures.

Frequently involved in entertaining fixtures, each of Dallas's last five games finished with BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored. 

Dallas are missing Enzo Newman and Geovane Jesus with knee injuries, the latter yet to feature since 2023. Logan Farrington, Petar Musa and Ramiro are available after serving suspensions.
