La Liga
The last time these teams met was in the 2021/22 season when these teams met in La Liga. That time, we saw a 1:1 draw at Estadio de Mestalla and a 3:1 win for Valencia on the road at Estadi Ciutat de València. Looking further back, in the last ten h2h games, Valencia won five times, while Levante secured one victory.
When it comes to the number of goals, we saw three or more goals in six out of the last ten official games, while both teams scored on nine occasions.
Valencia team overview
For the past six years, Valencia have been a mid-table team at best, constantly finishing between ninth and 14th place. The popular Bats looked more like a team likely to be involved in a relegation battle than one fighting for European spots. This year, the Bats had a terrible start and are currently in 17th place with only ten points in 12 rounds.
After a 1:1 draw with Real Betis, coach Carlos Corberán spoke to the media. He said it wasn't the result they wanted, but praised the team for their performance. When asked about the atmosphere in the dressing room, he said there is unity and commitment among the team and that they are working hard to overcome a rough period.

Levante team overview
Levente are a team that constantly moved between La Liga and La Liga 2 in the 21st century. Last year, they secured promotion and are only looking to survive this year and avoid relegation. However, that isn't going according to plan as they sit in 19th place with nine points after 12 rounds. Still, they are only one point away from the safe zone, and a win here would secure them an escape from the danger zone, at least for a short time.
Midfielder Unai Vencedor served his one-game suspension against Atletico Madrid after receiving a red card in the game before. He has been an important part of the starting eleven, and we expect him back in the starting lineup. His return is really important since they already have one key midfielder out with an injury (Pablo Martinez).

Prediction
Valencia have had massive problems scoring in recent matches. If we exclude the Copa del Rey game vs Maracena, they have only scored one goal in the last four games. Because of a bad offense, but also a solid defense, they were under 2.5 goals in three out of those four matches - 75%.
Levante also struggled offensively recently. They scored one or zero goals in four consecutive La Liga games. So, expecting a great offensive performance is unreal.
If we include two friendlies, these two teams have gone under 2.5 goals in four out of the last five games. Considering the trend in the previous h2h games and both teams' poor offensive performances in recent matches, we expect fewer than three goals in this La Liga tie.
3 Reasons why we should see fewer than three goals
- Valencia scored one goal in the last four La Liga games
- Valencia went under 2.5 goals in four of the last league games
- Levante scored one or zero goals in the last four La Liga matches
Main prediction Valencia - Levante
Under 2.5 goals
